Our staff is dedicated to our athletes regardless of their level of fitness – first time CrossFitters, advanced competitors, and professional athletes alike. At CrossFit ATR, we believe in honoring your mind and body; you only have one, treat it well and it will lead you to bigger and better things. We feel that learning the importance of Fitness and Nutrition will strengthen your mind, surrounding relationships, career, and it will lead you towards the life that you love. Fitness will make you happier, healthier, increase your energy and boost your confidence. We constantly update our members on the latest in nutrition and training. We host fitness challenges against other CrossFit gyms, we do quarterly challenges for our clients with prizes for the top finishers, and our members constantly meet outside of the gym to participate in local events such as the Tough Mudder, 5k runs, rock climbing, hikes, etc.
CrossFit is for EVERYONE, any workout can be scaled or modified to meet your individual abilities or fitness level. CrossFit ATR is not a conventional gym; you will not find rows of stationary bikes and weight machines. At CrossFit ATR you will find pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells, gymnastic rings, ropes, olympic lifting platforms, and lots of other equipment which we couple with wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing. We focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities and also in sports. Our fitness programming aims to improve your capacity in the ten recognized fitness domains:
- Cardio-Respiratory Endurance
- Stamina, Strength
Many of our exercises aim at moving your body the way it is meant to be moved – this means that many of your workouts will be comprised of exercises that have transference to movements performed in sport and/or regular life. Our program is constantly varied, highly intense, yet concise – this results in a comprehensive physical fitness program that can accommodate the busiest schedule.

Our community at CrossFit ATR is diverse; it includes members of our military’s Special Forces, full-time moms, doctors, lawyers, police officers, fire fighters, local business executives and employees, nurses, elite athletes, and retirees.
