* Athlete Notes: This is a long piece, so make sure you start off in a conservative way with the thoughts of increasing pace as you move through it. Take advantage of your time resting when your partner has to work. Limit how many transitions you need to make when sharing work to save time. Work does not have to be split evenly so jump in when you think your partner needs a break. Communication is always the key when working with a partner.
